Another day of fatigue yet, interestingly, I ended up riding again during the hottest part of the day. My weather station said 97 degrees but when I reached the valley, my small, but fairly accurate, pocket thermometer read 93. When I got back home, I placed the small one next to the weather station and found that they matched. Hot air does indeed rise but who would have imagined that 200 feet would make that much difference. The reverse of this past winter when the airport reported a reading of minus 16 but up here I was only recording -5.
Today's Ride: 1hr 34mins. 18.17 miles 93 degrees. Miles YTD: 3,885.5
